2 Heart. Put your heart into your training. Enthusiasm builds both success and a strong and healthy heart.

3 Intensity. High intensity kills high anxiety. Turn down your volume and experience the inner quiet.

4 The positive-outcome quadrilateral:

  • gain fitness
  • lose weight
  • build self-esteem
  • and acquire precious self-defence skills.

5 Basics. Basics. Basics. Basics will get you fit, keep you there and protect you when you need protecting. Basics win every time.

6 Enjoyment. When we enjoy, we return. Fitness should be challenging, smiles and fun not a mind-numbing chore or something to dread.

7 The F word. Think foods your great grandmother would recognise. Eat like we did “yesterday” and you’ll have a better chance of making it to the older age of tomorrow.

8 Join the Fight… Non-believers can become believers. Plenty don’t fight train. Plenty don’t train. Plenty are suffering. Plenty have lost the battle against obesity and lifestyle diseases. Plenty are lacking confidence. Spread the word and convert. Help others help themselves.
